How I Started Candie’s Sweet Cleaning

I decided to start my cleaning business after I started cleaning on an app called Taskrabbit. I am a single mother, and because my schedule was limited due to my child’s school hours, I knew I wouldn’t be able to get a job that paid well because of my limited working hours. One day I was scrolling on TikTok and came across a creator who mentioned an app called Taskrabbit. She said that she was hired by a lady who wanted her to build a book shelf. I didn’t even know Taskrabbit was a thing! I immediately got off of TikTok, and I started downloading Taskrabbit! I signed up to clean, run errands, be a personal assistant, organize closets, unpack boxes, and do a lot of other stuff! The following week I was working, and I soon found out that Taskrabbit was flexible, so I was able to make my own schedule! It was perfect! I often got hired to clean, I started making great money, and I got some amazing reviews! Not only was I in love with the fact that I was able to make my own schedule and I was making great money, but I also truly enjoyed cleaning my clients' homes! This went on for several months, and I thought, “I need to start my own cleaning business!” So. I did it!
